रचना की सामान्य भाषा अवधी है , उनमें कहीं-कहीं भोजपुरी का प्रयोग हुआ है । इसका रचना-काल हुसैन शाह शेर की समय है । कवि ने इस काव्य ग्रंथ की रचना-तिथि 909 हिजरी यानी 1503 ई. दी ह ।.
